Main Rules

Please read these rules. They apply to the whole site, unless otherwise stated.

1. Please, don't argue, or create any drama. This is supposed to be a friendly site where everyone can come without having to worry about issues between members. This isn't Facebook! I will be especially stern about this.

2. Never insult or impersonate anyone else. This is a serious offense that could result in a ban.

3. Listen to the staff. If you're told to do something, do it.

4. No advertising, unless it is in your signature, or in the advertising board. This should be simple to follow. We have an entire board dedicated to advertisements.

5. Posts should be literate! This means that they should have good grammar, and spelling. Use the spell check! Also, try to use dialogue correctly. I'm a real stickler when it comes to this, as I have a very strong background of literacy.

6. Keep everything PG-13. This includes, but is not limited to, inside PMs, RP threads (regardless of character), and the chatbox. I'm not too adamant about it since Naruto itself is not one-hundred percent child-friendly, but don't go overboard on the details. This really applies to any sexual content.

7. Please, do not use spoilers if you do not give warning first. If there are spoilers in a thread, please mark the thread with:
*Warning-Spoilers!*
If you don't, then the thread or post may be deleted. This applies mainly to discussion threads, but doesn't seem like it would be too big of a deal.

8. Please, make sure you are allowed to post in one another's thread. If you don't want other people to post in your thread then do this:
Name of Thread (Closed)
--and make sure you give instructions so people know that they can post in that thread. (A good thing to use for plot threads.)
If you don't care who posts then do this:
Name of Thread (Open).
This is important. It's also simple to follow.

9. Never lie! If one is caught lying, depending on the severity of the issues at hand, anything from a stern warning to a complete ban may commence. Please, be honest all the time. This is a given.

RP Rules

1. No God-Modding (G-Modding)! Control only your own character's actions. If you G-mod, then it will be modified or deleted, and you will be warned, depending on the severity.

2. You can only be in one RP thread at once. You can't be off fighting the nine-tailed beast and be chatting with Shikamaru in another thread at the same time.

3. Remember, not all attacks will hit an opponent, and definitely not kill them. You can only kill with the express permission of the target's owner AND the consent of an admin member.

4. Don't over do, or over-use, any jutsu. Remember, your character has a certain amount of chakra. Keep to their realistic limits. We're not superhero's, we're shinobi's. Shinobi are human beings.

5. Follow the two paragraph rule. In each RP post, you must post at least three paragraphs. This rule had to come into play since everyone was posting terrible one-liners. I know it may be hard to fulfill this rule, but it is a part of being literate.
