'Huh, she seems to like being in the air. Well then, I guess I will accommodate her!' Kaito didn't even bother trying to stance himself as Kana's claws went through his hair, immediately jumping back instead. His body was kept low to the ground, turning to face the girl as he seemed to hover over the ground towards her. His foot suddenly launched up for the Konoha Kage Buyou, aiming to catch her in the face, to throw her skywards. He didn't even waste a moment to see if she hit, jumping right under where he assumed her body would be. He had no fancy techniques from here, but a simple hold being established would allow his chakra draining to start.

Kaito was knocked off balance from the counter, but his leg quickly shoot out, catching himself before he could face plant. ‘She is quick. That is gonna be a problem.’ He didn’t even waste time with turning to face the girl, jump straight back, trying to estimate where she stood based on her voice. Kaito lifted both hands up to protect his face as he activated the Chakra Kyuuin Jutsu. He took a few quick breathes as he eyed the girl crouching in front of him. ‘Just breath, she is a big girl, she can handle this. Just don’t get out of control and everything will be okay.' Suddenly, he threw himself forward, attempting to close the distance between the two, so he could take advantage of his taijutsu techniques. As soon as he was in range, he swung is leg at Kana’s face, going for a Konoha Senpuu.

Spar? Now? Well, he should technically be training, but… what if he hurt her? Not to knock on her skills of course, Kaito was sure she had talent. However, holding back was not one of his strong suits. That was one of the reasons he got in trouble all the time, if his temper popped, he just kept hitting till he was forced away from the unlucky person. He didn’t want to do that to her, but she seemed so eager to do some sparring.
“Alright, but I am warning you, I am not going to go easy!” replied Kaito standing up, already planning his course of attack. Not that there was much to plan, he ran head first at things and hit them, draining chakra when necessary. For the most part it was all he needed.

Kaito stood there for a moment, staring at the moon. It was quite a sight for him, having not seen the moon rise in such a long time. Many times he was at home, training at this time of night, never stopping to see the large orb in the sky. Slowly, the boy maneuvered his way over to the bench, sliding into the seat next to Kana, his eyes still transfixed on the rising sphere in front of them. "You are right," he mused, a slight smile on his face, "this is a very special spot. Thank you for letting me come here."

Kaito smiled as he ran after her, letting the wind whip against his face as he did. He could have tried to catch her, he even believed he could do it. However, he had no idea where this girl was going, and he was intrigued. No, he would continue to play follow the leader with this girl. After all, she hadn't let him down yet.

Kaito was glad to hear that he wasn't the only one feel awkward. He felt himself blush a little as he ate, leading to him trying to hide it with his bowl. He hadn't even noticed the time passing, After the two had finished and Kana paid, Kaito followed the young girl outside, where he was a little surprised at the setting sun. He really should go back home and train, after all, he wasn't going to catch up with his brother if he didn't.
"Do you...do you want to join me tonight? I mean, I wanna show you a special place where I spend all my time alone. If you want to come, I'll gladly show you."
Now he was torn. She was asking him to go with her, something no one did anymore. But he needed to practice, he had drills to do. he would just need to tell her that another time would be better. Yeah, that could work, he could come over on the weekend or something. He just had to speak up and...
"If you don't have any plans this evening."
"I am free!", Kaito replied, the words shooting out of his mouth like a cannon. "I would love to see this special place!"
'Well', he thought as soon as the word left his mouth, 'there is no way this is gonna end well for me.'

Kaito kept eating in silence, unsure of what to do. Suddenly he put his bowl down and muttered out, just loud enough for Kana to hear, “Thank you for this. Sorry I am not good company… I…I am no good with people anymore…” Gah, he didn’t even know what he was saying anymore, but it felt appropriate for him to say. After all, he dragged her in here, and then just sort of sat there in silence. She had to have been bored with him, or annoyed, or angry. He didn’t know exactly how she was feeling, but he assumed it couldn’t have been good.

Kaito was still a little embarrassed from before, and just started to dig into his bowl of ramen. It was almost as if he was burying his face in the bowl, trying to hide it as thought raced through his mind. He wasn’t sure what he expected by coming here. Yes, the food was delicious, but he knew the reason was more than that. Was he trying to relive memories? Build new ones? Why did he come here with… would he call Kana a friend? He had only really spoken to her today, but she seemed nice. Well, nice enough to buy him ramen at least. He guessed that made her his friend… his first friend in awhile at that.
Gah! He hated thinking like this. He found thing much easier when he could solve them by hitting them. He could just shut his brain off and let instinct guide him.

Katsu nodded and took a seat next to Kana, smiling in silence for a moment before loudly proclaiming, “the usual please!” He sat there for a little bite before it dawned on him that he hadn’t been here in such a long time, and the cooks probably didn’t remember him. His mind raced as he tilted his head towards the ground, trying to think of something to say to take back what he had said. It became even harder to think when his cheeks began to burn, blushing from something so trivial. “I’ll…I’ll have what she is having,” he finally managed to mutter out, his voice wavering a little.

Kaito smiled as he was pulled into the ramen shop, the familiar smell causing his mouth to water almost immediately. He could remember exactly where everything was, almost as if he had come in yesterday. The seats, the bar, everything was just as he had left it. He wouldn't want to admit it, but everything about this place made him forget what his brother had done, about how he now struggled to control his temper, and brought him back to a time where the worst problem he had was scraping his knee during training.
Kaito turned towards Kana and gave her a soft smile. "Thank you for doing this," he told her.

“Huh?” Kaito said, being awoken from his dream-like state. “No, no, here is fine… it just… do you might if we go inside to eat. It has been a long time since I had a bowl of ramen, and I would like it to be as fresh as possible!’ He said sheepishly after a moment, grinning widely at Kana, while scratching the back of his head. He felt bad for lying to the girl, but he didn’t want to talk about his brother right now. No, he just wanted to have a bowl of ramen and reminisce, was that so wrong? Well, it didn’t make him feel like less of a jerk for lying, but he could live with that. He was just hoping she wouldn’t see right through him.

Kaito followed the girl closely, always eyeing for a way to dart off on his own. The cold night air blasted against he jumped from roof to roof. Despite his experience with traveling across roof tops, he would be lying if he said there he didn’t feel a childlike glee from the wind whipping against his face. His eye glistened as they darted from side to side, a smile plastered on his face. Well, that is, till he followed Kana to the streets, at which point the just stared at the restaurant they stood in front of. Ichiraku’s, the last time Kaito went there was with his brother.
“Huh? What? Yeah. Sounds like fun.” Kaito said absentmindedly, his mind wandering back to the days when his brother and Chi-san would bring him here after training. Of course, this was before his brother launched his master plan, slaughtering the poor girl and leaving Kaito to fend for himself. He hadn’t been here since his brother’s defection, too angry at the feeling hsi memories evoked when he was around this building.

Kaito grabbed his ear after Kana let go, gingerly cups his hand around it. He could still feel it ringing, even after he had released it and followed her out the window. It was needless to say that Kaito was a little worried now, perhaps regretting his choice a little now. However, the call to the escape of that hell call detention was stronger than anything like fear. Besides, she didn’t look all that threatening. Hell, she was even kinda cute. Still, desire to escape and cause havoc was taking over any other instincts he had. Now hs just had to find a time to escape.

Kenji could feel the presence on the other side of the door, the sheer amount of chakra emanating from the source press down on him. He could feel his breath quicken and his heart pound, half in sheer awe of the power before him and half in excitement. There was no telling how much longer he would be safe, the seal he had placed upon the first rock had yet to be broken, but that was only a matter of time. After that, the first rock wouldn’t only be a momentary obstacle, and the secondary seal and its guardian, a momentary distraction. Even if Kenji could pull this off, he was going to get trashed.
But that was the job of a defender of Konoha, and Kenji wasn‘t scared of whatever his foe would throw at him. Though his body was reacting to the presence, his blade pointed straight at the entrance, perfectly still. Kenji knew that he was cornered, that his body would be mangled, bones shattered, muscle torn, but he had experienced all that before. The injuries, the extensive damage done to a limb, the taste of his own blood, he was ready for that, and would return all of them to his foe ten time over. Because he was a defender of Konoha, and he would die before he would see it fall.
