Aikiko looked around her village with a somewhat large grin on her face. it had been a few months since she'd last seen her home and it was good to be back from a mission. It had been too long for her since she'd last been at Takigakure, she was sure, Mizu, their village leader would be happy to hear she was back. As would all the rest of of her family and friends not adding her father to the mix. Aikiko ran a hand through her hair and looked back at the team she had been leading through the mission. With a nod of her head they were gone, dashing towards Mizu's office to give in their report. Aikiko herself would give in her report later but at the moment she just wanted to explore her home and get used to it again.
Aikiko looked around the village as she walked, smiling as children passed her playing. A few people called out greetings to her and she returned them whole heartedly. She wondered who had gotten promoted in ranks and who was being taught the village leaders duties for when it would be time for Mizu to step down. Aikiko was a little sorry she had missed so much that had gone on in her village but she was sure she would be able to catch up in no time. So long as she could find someone willing to fill her in on what was going on.

Irratation filtered through the young man walking into the Village Hidden in the Waterfall.The shinobi looked back to the client he was escorting and glared when he wasn't looking.The idiot kept talking about how hot he thought Shiro's sister was.They had passed her on the way out of th village,and the client had immeadiately started flirting.Kana and just scoffed and walked away,but the client kept talking and talking and talking.Shiro was glad when they finally reached the man's house,and he droppedhim off.Shiro needed to talk so he summoned a wolf from his pack. The large wolf appeared in a puff of smoke.Just like his sister,he had a favorite,and this was his.It was,Soro.He turned to face his wolf and let a half-smile grace his lips "Soro,that client was so crazy"he said with a chuckle.The large wolf nodded in agreement.He turned back around to face forward and continuedtoward the gate. _________________________________________________ Soro: i770.photobucket.com/.../WolfehFelix.jpg |

Aikiko turned a corner and she immediately noticed an unfamiliar face. Her crimson eyes zeroed in on the young man who had a wolf beside him and she approached. Her stance was relaxed but prepared for anything as she didn't recognize him from her village. Sending a smile his way she asked pleasantly,
"And who might you be?"
She looked the man over, her eyes studying him before moving over towards the wolf beside him.
She was positive now that he was not a Takigakure ninja when she spotted his hitai-ate. Cocking her head to the side with a pleasant smile she trained all her senses on him. She swore almost everyone in her village were way too welcoming to other ninja. her on the other hand was always suspicious until she found no reason to be.

"And who might you be?"
Shiro was almost to the gate when he saw the Takigakure Shinobi.She looked at him and asked who he was.He smiled and bowed like he did to ninja from other villages to show respect"My name is Shiro Ookami,of the Ookami Clan,in the Hidden Leaf.I was escorting a civillian back to his home here from business he had in the Leaf"he said quitely.His eyes looked her over.Yes she was Takigakure Shinobi.He could tell by her headband"May I ask your name?"

Aikiko was immediately impressed by the man's show of respect to her as he bowed. Smiling a little more easily she instantly relaxed and bowed to him also as he said,
"My name is Shiro Ookami,of the Ookami Clan,in the Hidden Leaf.I was escorting a civillian back to his home here from business he had in the Leaf"
Aikiko vaguely wondered what civillian had business in Konoha but she pushed it aside. It was none of her business but she had heard about the Ookami Clan in passing after all it was only natural that a member of a powerful Clan would know about another Clan. Her attention was brought back to Shiro when he asked,
"May I ask your name?"
She looked at him shocked befor she bowed again as she said,
"My name is Aikiko Nanami from the Nanami Clan."
She wondered vaguelly if Shiro would recognize her Clan's name as they had been around for a long time. However, she also pushed this to the back of her mind as she asked,
"You will not stay to enjoy the sights?"
Her head was cocked to the side in a curious manner as she looked at him.

"My name is Aikiko Nanami from the Nanami Clan."
Shiro thought quickly,he had heard the name Nanami before on other missons.They had been around for a long time and were quite a powerful clan.When she bowed to him,he gave her a small smile"Iv'e heard of the Nanami Clan,it is a quite powerful clan,it's an honor to to meet you"he said with respect in his voice.
"You will not stay to enjoy the sights?"
Shiro thought for a second,there was really no hurry for him to arrive back at the village so quickly"Well I don't really know the village all that well"he said a bit unsure.

"Iv'e heard of the Nanami Clan,it is a quite powerful clan,it's an honor to to meet you"
Aikiko wasn't too suprised by the fact he heard of her Clan but she was happy about that. Smiling warmly she said with a healthy dose of respect,
"As i have heard of your Clan. It is a great honor for me to be speaking to you, Ookami-kun."
Aikiko laughed lightly at Shiro's uncertain words as he said,
"Well I don't really know the village all that well"
Giving him a reassuring smiled as she waved off the matter Aikiko chirped out,
"Don't worry about that. I know this village better than the back of my hand. Are you interested in eploring a bit? I've recently arrived back here since i've been away for a while so i could do with some copany."

Shiro smiled lightly,not many ninja he'd met before knew of his clan because he was just now rebuilding it.After the Kyuubi attack most of his clan had been wiped out,and when he'd become a Jounin he began rebuilding.At the moment it was just him his sister Kana,and a couple of younger siblings,but he had high hopes of it becoming the powerful clan it once was.With his sister being such a strong chuunin with a way with all the wolves she summoned,she was well on her way to being an amazing ninja.Shiro smiled again"thank you,not many people know of my clan"
"Don't worry about that. I know this village better than the back of my hand. Are you interested in eploring a bit? I've recently arrived back here since i've been away for a while so i could do with some copany."
"Well ya then it would be fun to explore the village"he said with a smile.Shiro felt a nudging at his hand and looked down to find Soro with his tongue lolling out of his mouth asking to be patted,so he reached down and scratched his head.

Aikiko bowed her head slightly at his thanks and smiled back as she said,
"All the great Clans remember each other from olden times. You are welcome though."
Aikiko remembered the Ookami Clan had formed during the second great ninja war. That was the reason the Nanami Clan knew of them, the Nanami Clan had formed during the first great ninja war.
"Well ya then it would be fun to explore the village"
Aikiko smiled happily as he agreed but she once again noticed the wolf by his side. She smiled warmly as she watched the interaction and she was immediately reminded of she and her panthers. She suddenly missed her favorite panther Janzu but he was with her little brother at the moment helping him train. She sighed heavily as she motioned him to follow her.
"You both look close. It reminds me an my panther."
She slipped into an alleyway that she knew as she shortcut and a few minutes later they were out in a more crowded part of Takigakure. There were different shops and attractions there, even a small stream going through it.

"yes,that is true.My grandfather used to tell me stories about your clan when I was younger"he said.He remembered sitting down in front of his granfather while he told the stories of all the clans.Including many of the greats and formr greats.He had heard stories of the Uchihas,Hyuugas,Nanamis,you name it.
"You both look close. It reminds me an my panther."
Shiro smiled he and Soro were very close"Yes,I can summon many wolves,but Soro has always been my favorite.He's like a best friend"he said.When she motioned for him to follow he did so with Soro close at his side.They went through an alleyway and reached a more crowed part of the village.A stream ran through themiddle and many people walked the street.

Aikiko looked at him surprised at that. She did not think that people told stories about the different Clan's let alone about her Clan. She gave him a crooked smile as she said,
"It is an honor, Ookami-kun. I wish i could tell you stories had been told of your Clan but there are never stories told within the Clan. Knowledge of other Clan's are passed down in detailed scrolls, especially since the Kekkei Genkai war."
Aikiko still shuddered when she remembered the detailed accounts of that war in the scrolls. She always silently prayed that there was never another war such as that one, too many people had payed a price.

Aikiko recognized the smile Shiro gave at her mention of he and his wolf being close. It was the smile she always had on when Janzu or Kari was by her side. She nodded her head in a knowing way as she said,
"I know the feeling. My two favorite panthers, Janzu and Kari, are my closest companions."
As they reached the busy main streets it was obvious that many of the houses had been rebuilt. There were a few houses that looked quite old while others were new looking. It served to remind Aikiko of the destruction that had overcome her home before she had left when they had been ambushed. She pointed to a few houses as she said,
"Before i had left my village to go on a mission, we had been attacked. Much of our village had been in ruins so the houses you see now are rebuilt ones. This here is our main street where most of our shops are."

A panther summoner?that was interesting.He had never met someone before that sumoned panthers.He had met people that summoned horses,dogs,tigers,sharks,phiranna,but never a panther"Where are your panthers now,if you don't mind my asking"he said.
"Before i had left my village to go on a mission, we had been attacked. Much of our village had been in ruins so the houses you see now are rebuilt ones. This here is our main street where most of our shops are."
Shiro looked around the main street.It was almost like the leaf.People walked,children ran around playing.Shops lined the wide street,and he could see the ruins of many houses piled up and in their place now stood new houses being built.

Aikiko smiled sadly at the young man before she said sincerely,
"My condolensces, Ookami-kun. My own clan has been torn apart, we are all scattered across the land. The only times we ever gather together is when we are truly needed."
"Where are your panthers now,if you don't mind my asking"
Aikiko had met many kind of summoners and it always interested her at how the animals could have similar attitudes to their summoners. She chuckled lighlty before she replied,
"I'm not sure if Janzu is still with my brother but Kari is where i can summon her."
As an after thought Aikiko summoned Kari, in a puff of smoke a rather large panther appeared. Aikiko kneeled infront of the panther and it bumped its head with her chest in a loving manner. Aikiko grinned, whispering loving words before she stood up and said,
"Kari this is Ookami Shiro from the Ookami Clan. Ookami-kun this is Kari."
A rumbling growl passed the panthers mouth as it bowed its head to him before rubbing against Aikiko. She smiled brightly before asking the panther,
"Janzu still with Ryu?"
Its nose crinkled as it nodded its head before Aikiko began to walk again. Her panther staying close to her side as its emerald eyes scanned the crowds intelligently. Aikiko looked at Shiro and pointed to a small hut as she said,
"That place has the best food around. You want to go in for a little?"
