I'm guessing that if female Hyuuga's married, they would be related by blood only, but if a male Hyuuga married their spouse would be a Hyuuga by name only.

*nods* yes.But what if...say..a female Hyuga had married someone outside of the clan and had children?The child would be like a ninja with the Byakugan,but not a Hyuga.And the Byakugan means alot to the clan,so I don't see how they would allow that...unless female members don't pass it on,which I don't see why they wouldn't...

no,actually,in an interview,Masashi Kishimoto said that the Sharingan is in the left eye,and Byakugan in the right.

I mean...*pops self into discussion though she's totally new* I can see the point with the Hyuuga not being allowed to marry outside the clan because of how protective of the bloodline they are. *nod* That would make it kind of difficult to marry of your own free will, and that you'd be sorta forced to marry someone who was like a second cousin, thrice removed xD. I think Im speaking jibberish here...I just got back from my second cross country practice of the day and am rather uh...distracted. xD *nods* Oh and the Hyu(u)ga rule :> |

I figured a way around the clan rule in the RP...A seal. That that blocks of the Byakugan genes so they can't be passed on. My character is going to have it applied. ^^

it would be funny if someone in the uchiha clan was being forcefully wed, then they put the priest or whoever was performing the marriage under a dojutsu* or genjutsu and made them speak incorrectly like "We have been gathered here today to see how unsuiting this marriage is" *nodnod*
