Ruby stared at the log. Katana in hand, she surged forward and sliced it, in a slant to the right. She then did a vertical cut.
Ok...I'm done for the day. She was covered in sweat, and was panting. She was surrounded by debris, created by her training: dummies, logs, and other material.
She was walking back into the village. After she had passed the gate, she walked towards her clan's boundary. The walls were decorated with the clan's symbol, a dragon sillouette. There was a little park inside the boundary. She found a bench, and sat down. She had her dark red robe on, but her hood was down.
She looked through her scrolls, paying no mind to what was happening around her. She relaxed.

Alastr was roaming the clan by treetop, board as always until he spotted a seemingly tired figure at a park. He jumped down behind it then realized that it must've been a woman. Hmm... haven't seen you around

Ruby turned to see Alastr behind her. She instantly recognized him as a part of the Tatsu's military branch, but other than that, she had no idea who he was, not even his name.
"Who are you?" She said. Her expression was serious. She held a scroll in her hands, and was calm. Kurotsurugi gleamed, strapped on her back.

"Its Alastr," he said "whats your name?" He kept his hand on his sword gently not wanting to scare her in any way. But he couldn't decide whether if she was innocent or if she was an enemy trying to infiltrate. He looked at her eyes, "And your eyes. they seem familiar."

"Ruby." She said.
She had thought of the sword as a slight threat, but she wasn't tense. In fact she was completely relaxed.
"My eyes?" She said, with a bit of coldness in her words.

"I'm from the main branch. If you know Violet, I'm her older sister." She said, "Many people don't know me because I'm part of the ANBU Black Ops." She just stared into his eyes with a serious stare. She didn't soften her expression, but this was a normal expression for her.

"Oh that's why. Do you realize that you and your sister share the same eyes?" He stared in to her eyes. He didn't realize it at first but he kinda liked them.

"I don't think so. Our eyes are different colors." She said plainly. She then looked down, without moving her head, at the scroll in her hand.

"Hmm, what's that might i ask?" Alastr looked at the scroll he couldn't tell what was on it but he noticed that it had some importance to her.

Ruby looked back up.
"It's just one of my scrolls I use for battle." She said. "One of the trademark scrolls of the Tatsu clan."
She had a faint smile on.

Alastr took a closer look and didn't seem to recognize it. He was puzzled on why he's never seen it. "Which one? I don't think i have ever seen it." Despite the familiarity and a valid story he still couldn't tell if she was friend or foe. And also despite the confusion of her alliance he relaxed.

"It's a fire scroll that enhances my chakra when using fire style." She said.
She stood up, and stared deeply into his eyes. Her expression softened.
"You know, you shouldn't be pondering on whether I'm an enemy or not."

"How would you know?" he relaxed a little. He felt like he could trust her that much more now. At this point he didn't know why he didn't really trust her but he forced himself to get comfortable by sitting next to her.

"I can see it in your eyes." She said. She then smiled. "You seem like an interesting person."
She looked over him.
