*!Plot!* The Leaf's Last Stand

[;; HYUUGA KANETSU ?!]

Kanetsu leaned in to kiss him on his maskless lips. She snuggled close to him, trying get warmer...and as close to him as possible.
"Sweet dreams, Kakashi..."

Violet's face went red. She closed her eyes.
Hayate...did he just...do...that? Violet took in a deep breath.
She couldn't believe what was happening.
Her mind seemed to just fill with happiness.

Kaiyou ran into the room Caleb was in and saw several Nurses and Doctors. Memories. Why didn't she have any?? Sighing slightly she looked at the doctors and Nurses before saying, "Naruto was brought in and now is sneaking out to get Raman! The nurses down stairs need your help to get him back to his room." Because of the seriousness on her face several of them ran back out and down stairs. That left only a few to tend to Caleb. "You ok? Probably just tired." Kaiyou looked at the bandages that were wrapped around her arms and chest and her burnt shirt. Sitting down right on the floor she refused to be moved. "I think they went overboard with this stuff. Don't you think?" She was trying to distract him.

San sat beneath a tree in the park out of breath and tired. Looking up she smiled at the snow. So lovely even in desperate times it was still pure. Shivering she rested there. Probably wouldn't even make it to her house tonight. Maybe she should have gone to the hospital.

[Hayate Mochiya]

A few minutes later, Hayate was sitting next to Violet. One thing darkened the mood of the moment. A small black glow was eminating from Hayate's hand... "Oh crap..."

[Okato Ikamatsu]

Caleb was shaking, but stuttered out, "S-Sure." He grabbed his hair and almost ripped it out. He looked at her with bloodshot eyes from crying, "I-I would tell you what happened... But I've never told anyone about it... During the battle it wasn't as bad, because I knew friends were going top be hurt... But just now... It was clearer than ever... M-My parents' death."

Kaiyou got up and climbed onto a stool near the bed. Patting his head gently she wiped away his tears. "Tis ok. You don't have to tell anyone." The nurses watched trying to figure out what was wrong then left to go find a doctor. Gently she loosened his hands and grabbed the bandages and salves the nurses had left. "You rest. The dumb nurses are going to get one of those doctors then they will go overboard on bandaging you up too. I saw how they did it." Slowly she applied the salves and Bandages and by the time the nurses and Doctor got there he was all bandaged up right.

San finally made it to her house and flopped right on her bed to go to sleep. She was out in minutes.

[Hayate Mochiya]

((Time skip... Time for me to god-mod Tsunade and the ceremony...))


Tsunade stood in front of the Hokage's Faces. The entire village had gathered. A month had passed since the invasion, and everyone (or at least anyone important) hospitalized was successfully healed to full health. The village was, for the most part, rebuilt. "Many ninja contributed to the fight against the invasion of Ikijigoku." Tsunade spoke. "Many were killed, including the Tatsu Clan's Leader." She seemed to look directly at Violet when she said this. "There are five ninja I would like to recognize who managed to end the invasion by killing the leaders. Please stand up: Kanetsu Hyuuga, Kakashi Hatake, Hayate Mochiya, and Ruby and Violet Tatsu." When each ninja stood, Tsunade threw them a medal. "May you live to protect your village again in the future." The ninja sat down. "Now, I beleive there's another ceremony of recognition that needs to be held today. When I call your name, please come to the front and stand by me: Hayate Mochiya, Violet Tatsu, and Kaiyou." The ninja stood where they were told. "These three ninja showed extreme strength, much larger than the rank they were already at. As of this moment, Hayate Mochiya, Violet Tatsu, you are officially Jounin. Kaiyou, congratulations. Iruka and I have both decided that you should be made a Genin by now." She turned to Hayate. "Hayate, I think you're ready for some Genin to teach. Kaiyou and Caleb Schelander shall be yours to teach. You may train them now, but until we can assign you another Genin, you can't bring them on missions." Tsunade then continued with the funeral ceremonies.

[Okato Ikamatsu]

((Before the time skip))

Caleb smiled at Kaiyou, "Th-Thanks."

((After... : P))

Caleb clapped for his friends, but couldn't stay focused on the ceremony. He almost felt as though he was being watched. He turned, but saw no one.

Kaiyou smiled at him and patted his head and herded the nurses and doctors away.

Kaiyou smiled and blushed slightly as she stood before everyone. But soon she lost her smile and listened to the funeral ceremony.

[;; HYUUGA KANETSU ?!]

*After month timeskip*

Kanetsu stood up and caught the medal, barely even looking. She looked at Kakashi, who also received a medal. She smiled at him, and then looked around, seeing tons of people staring at her. She took a deep breath, trying not to blush in front of all of these people. Kanetsu looked at her medal, and after reading it, she hugged Kakashi tightly. After the month passed, the entire village had basically found out about Kakashi and Kanetsu.

Anko stood in the crowd somewhere, close enough to Kanetsu where she could see the hug. She smiled, and laughed.
"Alright Kanetsu!" Anko said. She whistled at Kanetsu, but more because she had Kakashi to love her eternally now, not just because of the medal. Anko felt happy for her friend.

Kurenai and Asuma sat next to each other in the near front, hands connected. They looked at the other couple and smiled. They were good friends with the other couple, and as such, they were happy seeing them happy.

The Hyuga clan had their own special section, but Kanetsu preferred to be with Kakashi. All of them; Neji, Hinata, Hanabi, Hiashi among some of them looked at Kanetsu. At first their faces didn't seem changed, but then their face glowed, smiling at their fellow Hyuga clan member.

Kanetsu looked back, and blushed even more. She just took her head and laughed a bit.
