"How good is it? I made it extra special for you." He said, looking into Kanetsu's eyes.

Kanetsu lifted her head up from his shoulder, only to return his gaze. She finished what she was currently eating before bringing her face towards him in order to kiss his cheek. Kanetsu held her food in one hand and hugged him with the other lovingly. She smiled at him brightly.
"Kakashi...it's absolutely delicious. Thank you so much. I love it." She spoke to him softly. A few seconds after, she licked his cheek before kissing it softly once more. "And I love you. So very much."

Kakashi actually blushed a small bit.
"I'm really glad you love it. And I'm glad you love me so very much, because I do to." He said, with a smiling expression in his eyes. He nuzzled her cheek with his nose.

Kanetsu snuggled closer to him.
"I couldn't even begin to think of living without you." She told him softly. "I hope my clan knows that if they take you away from me, they will rip my heart out." Kanetsu continued, a small frown forming on her face. "You probably know this, but all females from all clans must marry and start families with other males from the clan. For men, this is obviously not the case, because if they pick someone outside of the clan, the female will obviously obtain the male's last name, and thus become a member of the clan, albeit not a full blooded member." She explained. "Yet, in most clans the Kekkei Genkai is posessed by very few people, while the Hyuga clan enforces the rule with the most force because everyone has the Byakugan. Usually most women in clans don't have the Kekkei Genkai, so it's not a problem for them. But in my clan..." Kanetsu stopped for a second, looking down. "We are paired with random strangers from the same clan. We have no options. The clan leaders pair the main house members with each other. They have done that for decades, maybe even centuries, in order to make the main house the stronger of the two parts of our clan. Meanwhile, the branch house is supposed to protect them." Kanetsu continued to frown as she spoke. "My clan is full of cruel systems that someone terrible must have thought of. It makes our clan have bad blood with one another, and makes us dysfunctional. Not to mention less united and powerful. If we could all just work together...as one clan without separate houses...we could live happier and work together as a peaceful clan." She finished. Kanetsu sighed. "One day, I'll have to explain it all to you." She smiled for the first time after telling him about her clan. "It makes me happy spilling my heart out about all of this clan stuff. Especially to you." She said, snuggling him.

"I'm sure it does..." Kakashi said, looking down. "And I don't get it myself, why some clans have to be that way. And it's not something you could just leave...it's stuck to your destiny...you're born with it, and you die with it..." Kakashi paused. "But who says you can't still develop your own way out? Who's stopping you, really? If it's something you believe in, and something you'll fight for...then sometimes you just have to fight for it. Love is something to die for. Just like your village. Dying for your village is based on love. Love for your village. I believe you can find a way out of this. You will. You have support...and the strongest support is the very thing your working for...me." Kakashi looked at her long and emotionally. "I'm telling you, no matter how cruel, how awful, we can work through this."

Kanetsu leaned toward and touched her forehead to his gently. A tiny bit of scarlet red was present across her cheeks, just as it usually was when she was with him. She had a small smile showing on her face as she looked closely at him, examining his eyes with her usual enigmatic look in her eyes. It seemed as if she was trying to read his thoughts though his eyes. So far, she was pretty good at it, but not perfect. Kanetsu wrapped both of her arms simultaneously around his neck in a simple but successful attempt to get closer to him. Their noses touched as well as their foreheads now, and Kanetsu was so close to him at that very moment that she could hear and feel his breath on her lips.
"You're right." She told him softly. "We will work through this. It doesn't matter what we have to face. It can be Hiashi, the whole clan, or even the whole world. Whoever it may be, we will get through it. Together." She stopped to smile only a little before her face became a frown. "But, the thing is, my way out of this is very risky. It hasn't been tested on anyone at all. It might possibly not even work. It would solve the entire problem, but if I use it anyway and it fails...." She stopped once more as her face saddened at the thought of what could possibly happen.

"If it fails, you still have my love." He said, staring down into her eyes. "Nothing can ruin this love we have. You know how they say even death couldn't stop love? It's true, and not much could be worse than death itself. Not even this situation." He put his hands on the back of her head. "You HAVE to be faithful in yourself. You have to keep thinking it will work, because in reality...the more faith you have, the more successful you can be. Trust me."

Kanetsu's face heated even more with every word that he said. She tried to breath in a calmer fashion, but it didn't work for her at all. It just allowed the blush to deepen further from embarrassment since Kanetsu probably looked like a total moron at that moment. Plus, it was way more noticeable since her forehead was against his, meaning her face was literally right in front of his. Since his hands were on the back of her head, it only pulled their faces closer together. It made her heartbeat slightly louder than usual.
"But...I don't even know if I can have faith in myself..." Kanetsu replied softly. "I've never really been able to have faith in myself at all since...my problems with Burakku began. He really messed me up mentally, to a point where the only thing I can really have faith in is my existence causing destruction." She continued. "And no matter how hard I have tried since that day, I can never restore any faith I once had in myself. I have progressed somewhat with your help, but..."

Just a few seconds after Kanetsu's brain had allowed his words to sink into her mind, a single tear rolled down her cheek. She immediately closed both of her eyes, trying to prevent anymore tears from coming out.
"Kakashi..." Kanetsu whispered as she opened her eyes, allowing tears to flow out freely. The smell of salty, teary water filled the room. She had not moved, her forehead still pressed against his.
Kanetsu wanted to tell him that she would attempt to regain faith in herself. She wanted to let him now that she agreed with him, and that they truly were invincible. But Kanetsu just couldn't bring herself to say anything to him for some reason.

"Kanetsu. I know that you can bring yourself up to regain faith. I know you can and will." Kakashi said. He then put his hands on her cheeks, and tenderly wiped the tears away.

As soon as Kanetsu felt his hand on her cheeks, her face got warmer almost immediately. Her mind was shot back into reality, as she remembered that she was crying. It was kind of embarrassing for her, since Kanetsu really wasn't used to showing her emotions. Most ninja weren't, as it was frowned upon. However, it was especially hard for her, since she liked to keep herself an enigma. Showing her inner emotions was still even difficult for her to do with Kakashi.
In fact, Kanetsu had rarely, if not never heard him tell her about what goes on inside his mind. It would be nice just to see what goes on in his head...maybe he's just as enigmatic as I am. Then again, he probably has images of certain scenes from his books in his head. As she thought, she looked up at him. Yeah, he is perverted. Suddenly, Kanetsu smiled at him warmly. But he's MY pervert...
"Kakashi...I'm so happy that you are able to have so much faith in me. Thank you...I will not let you down. I promise..." She whispered to him. Slowly, she got closer to his ear, and nuzzled it. "My perverted Copy Ninja."

He licked her cheek, and hugged her.
"And I will not ever let you down on anything I say. So I say I will believe in you...I will. Always." He looked down, and then held her hands in his. He brought them to his chest.
"And, no matter what, I'll be the one to care for you. To help you through hard times, to be there for you to let your emotions loose. Cry, laugh, yell, or simply smile, I'll be here for your emotions. And, if I'm not here to truly care for you, who will? I would go around the universe and back for you. And if sadness and depression come upon you, I will wait centuries until I see your smile again. I'll hold you in my arms, and show you that I love you, with simply a tender kiss. And even if I can't do that, I will battle for you. Not for you as in fighting instead of you, but living through the battles so that I can see you again. You will be the new fire that burns in my heart. One that I will not let go extinguished."
He put his forhead against hers once more. He kissed her lips, and rubbed his nose against hers.

Kanetsu laughed a little when he rubbed his nose against hers. She grinned widely, since it kind of tickled when he did that. Suddenly, she stopped after a second or two, looking at his single opened eye, since the left one was usually closed to prevent wasting chakra. Honestly, she had never even seen that eye opened, except when he was in battle. It was probably for the best though, Kakashi really didn't have as much chakra as people like Naruto. Kanetsu fully understood that. One of his wonderful eyes would be plenty to Kanetsu. I really wonder if I deserve Kakashi... She thought, still gazing at him. After everything terrible that I caused in this world...am I really able to be with him? After her last thought, Kanetsu shook her head, rejecting it. No! I can't keep thinking like this! I promised him that I would believe in myself. Still...he thinks I'm perfect. But if there is anyone who is perfect here, it is him.
"Kakashi...I'm not sure that I even deserve you...but I know that I am so lucky to have you." Kanetsu stated, hugging him.

"Kanetsu, you do deserve me. Why? Because you have fought to stay alive to see me. And you've lived your life all the way to these very seconds. I'm your gift. And you're mine. You're truly a blessing to me, and I hope you think the same."
He kissed her neck and nuzzled it.
