Violet sighed as she walked up the many steps of the public park. She looked around with a bored expression on her face.
"Well. I hope that training session Hayate is holding goes on well." She said out loud to herself. She sat down at the park bench. The sun was close to setting. "And it'll be over soon."
She played with the hilt of her sword, tapping on it. The sword made a clicking sound as the blade touched the side if the scabbard. She soon got bored enough to simply sit there and watch what went on in the park.
There were a few young kids playing ninja tag. She watched as they threw their cardboard shuriken and kunai. Some of them had headbands made from cardboard pasted to a long strip of cloth. She remembered the days when she was younger. And she never would have thought, at her young age, she would become the leader of her clan, and a jounnin of her village.
She pulled out a kunai, and began to carve on a scrap block of wood she had picked up earlier. She wrote in:
Violet is bored. Where could Hayate be? Mr. Cool guy. She laughed at her simple creation. She made a circle around it, and drew in a sword going through the circle. She was a great artist. Though she rarely showed her works to others.
Her drawing skills were more of a personal thing. But there was still much for her to improve on.
Looking at the block of carved wood for a moment, her mind drifted on to other thoughts. She hadn't had a mission in a few days, and she figured she could use one. But, she decided against going up to the Hokage's building to ask for a mission. She would wait till she was called up. Until then, she'd wait for Hayate.
She was getting pretty hungry as the minutes rolled by. She had a small bag with her. She opened it, and pulled out a rice cake. She smiled at it, and took a bite. She was occupied with eating the rice cake, until a cardboard shuriken hit her arm. She looked around looking for the source, and saw a smiling boy. She smiled.
"Nice shot, dude." She complimented. He beamed.
"Thank you miss ninja! Watcha doin' here?" He asked, curious why Violet wasn't out on a mission, like most ninja's usually were.
"No missions today. Yeah, sometimes being a shinobi can be boring." The kid laughed, and ran off.
