It took a short while before all three had arrived, leading them upstairs to the halls, Kai would stop in front of the largest pair of doors in the hall...quite obvious that it belonged to the lady Hokage, Tsunade. Kai gave a short glance over his shoulder and held up a sign for them to wait in the hall, there were a row of chairs by the door just for that occasion. Kai politely knocked loud enough for her to hear but not enough to disturb the headache she most always had when buried neck deep in work. He waited for a reply taking a step back from the door.

Hae couldnt seem to get Yuudai's face out of her mind. He had removed his mask just for her to see, and she had been a little surprised that he had. Generally, people that wore masks never removed them. However, Yuudai was different. He had some facial scarring, but it wasnt unlike anything she'd already seen in her life. It didnt bother her...he had life-lit eyes and an almost child-like face, in her opinion, anyway. She even thought he was sort of...cute. Hae moved her mouth to the side a little as she thought and observed her changing surroundings. Looking around, she took in the interior of the Hokage's building. It was quite pretty, they had good architects in Konoha, apparently.
She glanced to her right. Yuudai was step-for-step with her and the other man...Kai, right? Was in the lead. He knocked on the large doors and Hae swallowed. She was either about to be in alot of trouble, or not so much. She'd heard that Hokage Tsunade was a fair person, so hopefully that was true...

Ugh... Tsunade thought as she heard someone knock at the door. For a second or two, she pondered about what she would do. It was either get up and punch whoever was on the other side of the door through the wall, or call them from her desk and allow them entry. Finally, she just decided to let them come in. After all, they hadn't knocked too obnoxiously, which only would have added to her almost ever-present headache. "Come in." She spoke. It wasn't loudly, just loud enough to let them hear her, and not add more fuel to the fire of her headache. Tsunade's hands were folded under her chin, ready for whatever she was about to listen to.

Yuudai glanced around the halls a little as they walked, intrigued by the layout of the building. It felt bigger than he remember, though the last time he was here was years ago. Still, it felt inviting in a way, calm, peaceful. Yuudai would hate to be in the building during times of war, but for the moment, the hollow halls seemed to welcome him, to invite him in. Odd, considering he was here only as an escort, and would surely witness Kai requesting to punish him.
He began to fumble with his mask a little, it never seemed to fit quite right after he removed it. It would take him some time to find just that perfect spot once again. Part of him wished he had never removed it, more for his own personal comfort, but he was mostly glad that he did. He had no shame in his scars, and he was sure Hae would understand. Besides, he didn’t want her to worry about him and his punishment, and he figured that was the best way to do that.
Yuudai stood next to Hae as Kai knocked on the door, patiently awaiting to go it.

After hearing the moment of extended silence Kai knew she was contemplating the actions of civil vs violence. All humorous to a degree in his mind because he had the same issues most of the time himself. When Tsunade answered, Kai would quietly open the door and casually close it behind himself. Once the door was shut he moved to the center of the room to get the formalities out of the way before moving onto casual behavior and business alike. First he would close his eyes and bow to her, a sign of respect was always warm on the soul when having a hard day, after his rise he would pull down his mask to show his face to her seeing as he had no reason to hide it from her.
Before speaking, Kai walked over to her desk and slipped his right thumb into his belt to remove a pill from his hidden pill pouch. An extra strength pain killer for headaches that his family designed to counter the painful effects of the head rush when using their Kekkei Genkai for extensive amounts of time. Kai placed the pill in front of her and gave her a warm smile, "This should take care of your headache for a long while. Take half and you should still be functional to perform your duties without falling asleep.", he said calmly. With that said and done he pulled up a chair and his eyes seemed to relax more.
"Im here to discuss the sheer lack of discipline and respect from a Chuunin here in this village. His name is Yuudai Hishikawa, a remarkable kid...but he seems to be short on Konoha's rules and why these rules are in place. His lack of respect for authority is disturbing and quite reminds me of myself when I was around his age.", he spoke in a manner to jump start the discussion. Surely this would be the part where she would ask what happened. He sat up ready to give his report.

Hae had to admit that she'd felt a bit more at ease about what kind of punishment might be awaiting Yuudai because of her arrival in the Land of Fire. She swallowed as she heard a 'Come in' from the other side of the door. Kai opened the doors and immediately lowered into a bow of respect to his Hokage. Hae bit her lip, not so sure what to do. She lacked knowledge in the "diplomacy" area of her life, but common sense, coupled with what she'd been taught by her mother was to bow in the presence of someone far superior to you. She gave a bow. It was not small, but it was not over-extensive, either.
She didnt want to over-do anything, so she kept it on the cautious side. Kai began speaking as soon as he had seated himself, but Hae stood back, a few feet behind Kai. She was unsure of what to do, so she stood with her hands clasped behind her back, a nervous look on her face. She had the note in her right hand, and she knew its contents. She would explain as the note was read what it was. However, now was not the time for that. Kai had quite a story for the Hokage, now.

Tsunade looked on at Kai as he bowed to her, showing a sign of respect. He had even pulled his mask down, which showed even a bit more respect. Although, she had started to grow tired of things like that during the day. People would come in all the time and show levels of respect, but Tsunade didn't care that much after seeing it so many times a day. She really just wanted to know what they wanted and what they wanted her to do about it, so she could go on with whatever she was doing. Which was honestly gambling or drinking, most of the time. As Kai propped the pill in front of her on her desk, she began to contemplate whether she'd actually take it or not. After all, she did have these all the time and was quite used to it, not that it was too much for a medical ninja of her prowess to handle anyway. Though after the coming conversation, she might of actually taken it, just for the hell of it. "Uh, thanks." She replied to Kai, looking down at the pill and then back up at him. As she saw him pull of a chair and sit down, Tsunade knew that this conversation would be a long and somewhat stressful one. Taking a deep breath, she prepared for the start of Kai's talking. Once he did begin to speak, however, Tsunade listened closely. "Short on Konoha's rules, huh? What exactly happened?"

Yuudai sighed a little as Hae followed Kai in. That probably didn’t work in his favor. He knew Kai would want to talk about him first, and having Hae enter would no doubt agitate Kai more than he already was. Yuudai took a deep breath before entering the room after Hae. He stared at Kai and the Hokage as they sat across from one another. He wasn’t sure if the Hokage saw him, but he gave a deep bow and had audibly enough, “Good evening Hokage-Sama.”
Yuudai then turned to Hae who was standing behind Kai, clearly nervous. Yuudai would even go as far as to say that she was uncomfortable. He lightly placed his hand on her shoulder, in order to get her attention. He planned on leading her out into the hall, so the Hokage and Kai would talk about him in peace.

Kai stopped in his tracks once he heard Hae behind him, careful not to turn his face he slipped his mask back upon his face then casually glanced over his shoulder at the girl. Just as he was becoming more irritated, Yuudai came in and escorted Hae out of the room...as if it really needed to be spoken. He waited until the door closed behind the two and his attention would return to the Hokage as he pulled his mask back down to gain the feel of a casual environment. "I had returned from my daily training session when I spotted these two.", obvious gesture of words to the two that had entered and then left to ensure privacy for the two adults in the room to talk.
"The female from the Star village was being escorted by Yuudai to come see you, but the path they were taking was through the restricted area of the Hokage mountain.", He didnt say much more about the restricted areas in case anyone was listening, but hat he meant was that they were getting too close to the hidden tunnels and neither one of the two had clearance to be there. "At first I toyed with them out of humor but then I noticed that the girl didnt have a passport to be within the walls of Konoha, a violation of treaty between our allies.", he said as he rubbed his temples to push away his headache.
"When asked to see her passport, both continuously lied to me and refused to be truthful even when I offered a chance to come clean...both continued to lie, even tried telling me that I was wrong about our restricted areas and the lack of need of a passport for outsiders. It wasnt until I had become completely fed up that the girl remembered that she was supposed to be delivering a letter to you so I personally took the matter of escort into my own hands since she was not authorized to be in here to begin with.", Kai continued to explain as he allowed himself to grow calm again.
"I told Yuudai that his actions to lying and aiding criminal activity would go punished and his cocky response was that he believes that his instructor would be insufficient at dealing a punishment. This is why, my lady Hokage, I am personally requesting permission to punish him myself in addition to taking him on as my own student. If his instructor lacks the skill to keep this boy in line then I wish to step in and show him the proper path. I see a rebellious nature which could be ill for himself and other in the future if he is not shown humility."

It took a good few minutes for Hae to realize that the older ninja...Kai had meant to close the doors. She had seen people who automatically made like they were going to close doors they were just going through, and she'd developed a knack to follow them. Apparently though, this was not the case. Whoops.. she thought, when Yuudai followed her in and she got a rather steely look from Kai. She hadnt let anything slip past her face to indicate her embarrassment though. Awesome first impression, Hae...act on assumption and not actuality...great... she thought, as Yuudai pulled her out of the room.
Once they were through the doors that had closed for a second time, this time the meaning understood, Hae leaned against a corner of a wall and scratched her head, running her fingers through her hair nervously. "Hahah...whoops. Bit of a mistake on my part...I just followed him in based on assumptions. Sorry about that..." she murmured, averting her gaze from Yuudai, clearly embarrassed. It had been an honest mistake, so she couldnt be blamed for too much other than...stupidity and being foreign to this country where people probably did things quite differently. "And sorry I totally forgot to tell you about the letter I have from the Hoshikage...another mistake on my part. I forgot about that, and it did not hit me until we were in a tense situation like we were just then...I didnt mean to keep it from you..." she said, finally manging to drag her eyes to Yuudai.
Her eyes were rather round at this point, mainly because of her humiliation, tiredness and unsureness. She slid down the wall and landed silently on the floor, where she pulled her knees up to her chest, wrapped her arms around her knees and put her face in her arms. Sure, for most people that would indicate crying, but right now she just didnt feel like looking at anything or anyone. "Ugh...." she groaned, loud enough for Yuudai to hear...
"This is not going as I had planned or hoped...I get in trouble, I get you in trouble, I forget about my primary reason for coming here, I humiliate myself and make it even more blatantly obvious that I am foreign here...must I go on...?" she asked, her voice rising a tad but not by much. She wanted to yell it, but that wouldnt do any good, so she just let that sit in the atmosphere.

Tsunade watched as the young male ninja lead the kunoichi out of the room. She ultimately decided to pay no mind to it, at least at the moment, anyway. It wasn't essential to the conversation, not at that point. Not long after, her attention was redirected to Kai. Tsunade just wanted to let the man explain so she could get to things that she wanted to do...like drinking her sake or maybe gambling. She had Shizune hide her own sake from her, and the reason for that was that Tsunade thought that it might encourage her to get work done. However, that was barely the case---it just made her more desperate for a drink. Tsunade listened intently so she could find a fix to the situation quickly and efficiently. "They went through restricted areas and lied continuously, eh?" She replied, making sure she understood the situation. It certainly sounded shady by the way Kai had told her, but whether the two ninja were actually shady was something completely different. There was really only one simple, quick way to determine if they were or not. "Would you mind asking the two to come back in here?"

Yuudai let out a little sigh as he exited the Hokage’s room, shaking his head a little in order to ground himself a little. It wasn’t so much that he was afraid of what was going to happen to him, whatever punishment was decided upon, he would survive. No, he was worried how the Hokage would react to Hae. It didn’t seem like she was the violent, destructive type, like he heard the Raikage was like. Still, having her stand there, alone, face to face with the widely accepted most powerful member of Konoha, and perhaps most powerful person within the entire Land of Fire, he couldn’t do that.
Yuudai turned as Hae began to speak, watching her advert her eyes. He could easily see the embarrassment she felt, and he didn’t blame her. After all, many of the villages didn’t take kindly to visitors already, and those that didn’t know the rules where frowned upon even more. Though Yuudai’s traveling was limited to mostly stealth related missions, he had once or twice been forced into formal situations, and had always gotten something wrong. He didn’t let it eat at him, but he knew the stares he had gotten, and what they could do to a person. And then she got to her apology, and he shook his head a little. He was honestly annoyed by it in the moment, but now? He had already gotten over it, after all, what was the harm in it? Would it have really done that much if she had told them earlier?
He watched as she slumped down, groaning as she did. Yuudai listened as she voiced her embarrassment, clearly feeling the pressure of it all. He felt bad for her, wanting to be of more help than he was. He kneeled down in front of her, forgetting for a moment that he was still wearing his mask, and smiled. “Tell you what,” he began, trying to get her to focus on other things, “After all this is done, I will see if the Hokage will let us on top of the mountain to see the sunrise. If she doesn’t, we will head to my home, eat whatever leftover there are, get some sleep, and then in the morning we can explore Konoha.” He was sure that his parents had already gone to bed, but they would leave food out for them, knowing that he would be home at some point.

Kai nodded and stood up as he pulle dhis mask up over his nose once more. Turning away from the chair he made casual pace toward the door and opened it up. "....you two may come in now, the adults have spoken.", he said in a very relaxed tone that almost suggested that all was forgiven. Turning back into the room, he left the door open behind himself and rather than sitting back down in a chair he pulled up a chair next to the one he was sitting in before and moved to lean against a wall.
Kai's arms crossed over his chest and in a casual slump he listened in silence. Eyes surveyed the two to watch them enter the room and not a word was said, this he was eager to see.

Yuudai nodded to Kai, standing up and signaling for Hae to follow him. He walked into the Hokage office, bowing deeply upon seeing her. He held his hands tightly against his side, his eyes planted on the floor. He knew she was probably staring at him, watching him for any sign of disrespect. “Hokage-sama,” were the only words he let leave his lips. He didn’t plan on completing his bow until he was given permission.

Hae picked her chin up a little as Yuudai knelt next to her. She felt her cheeks flush a little as he started talking. He offered a proposal to her. Hokage mountain at sunrise? it sounded…beautiful. She couldn’t help but smile a little as she felt her face warm up a little. She let a small smile creep through her lips and hoped her face hadn’t flooded with as much color as it felt like it had. However, then he spoke about getting some food and shelter. Her face felt a little hot ”I could stay in your house for the night..? That’s very kind of you…Thank you very much.” She sort of averted her gaze a little and muttered in a light voice ”And Hokage Mountain at sunrise sounds…breathtaking…” she looked back to his masked face and gave another smile, but it was soon interrupted as she jumped about a foot in the air when the door swung open.
The other leaf shinobi poked his head through and summoned them inside. His voice was too relaxed…and Hae narrowed her violet eyes in anger. He was acting too calm, and this guy seriously got on her nerves. She kept her eyes narrowed and cast him a mistrusting glance as she filed inside to sit in one of the chairs. However, she would wait until Yuudai took his seat first. She didn’t want to screw up…again.
