Kana jumped from building to building, and finally found the right one. It was her apartment complex. She showed him to a ladder, and climbed up. It was a balcony covered with glass paneling, open on one end, closed on the other.
"Here it is..." she said, twirling around. There was a bench at the edge of the balcony.
By now, the full moon began to peek over the horizon. Kana went to sit at the bench, and looked at the rising moon. It's light reflected in her eyes. There was an inviting look.

Kaito stood there for a moment, staring at the moon. It was quite a sight for him, having not seen the moon rise in such a long time. Many times he was at home, training at this time of night, never stopping to see the large orb in the sky.
Slowly, the boy maneuvered his way over to the bench, sliding into the seat next to Kana, his eyes still transfixed on the rising sphere in front of them. "You are right," he mused, a slight smile on his face, "this is a very special spot. Thank you for letting me come here." |

Kana's gentle smile was her sign of "your welcome." The moon had risen just far up in order to be seen as a whole orb of white light. Since it was low in the sky, the illusion of large size was making it's debut; the pristine sphere was not to be missed. The light reflected off the glass panels. Kana let more time pass.
After a while, she stood up, "We have a relatively wide area. How would you like to do a bit of an evening spar? It's been a long time since I've spared with anyone."
She looked at Kaito.

Spar? Now? Well, he should technically be training, but… what if he hurt her? Not to knock on her skills of course, Kaito was sure she had talent. However, holding back was not one of his strong suits. That was one of the reasons he got in trouble all the time, if his temper popped, he just kept hitting till he was forced away from the unlucky person. He didn’t want to do that to her, but she seemed so eager to do some sparring.
“Alright, but I am warning you, I am not going to go easy!” replied Kaito standing up, already planning his course of attack. Not that there was much to plan, he ran head first at things and hit them, draining chakra when necessary. For the most part it was all he needed. |

"No need to." She took on a strange, crouching stance. Since her cat senses and her gloves were already on, she tapped her claws on the ground ready to go. "Make your move, Kaito."
Her pupils narrowed to slits as she focused on him, ready to scrutinize every move he would make so she would be able to respond appropriately. Her tail slightly twitched in anticipation.

Kaito lifted both hands up to protect his face as he activated the Chakra Kyuuin Jutsu. He took a few quick breathes as he eyed the girl crouching in front of him. ‘Just breath, she is a big girl, she can handle this. Just don’t get out of control and everything will be okay.' Suddenly, he threw himself forward, attempting to close the distance between the two, so he could take advantage of his taijutsu techniques. As soon as he was in range, he swung is leg at Kana’s face, going for a Konoha Senpuu. |

Kana's catlike reflexes kicked in, and she swiftly moved down flat to the floor as his foot flew past her face. She grasped the ground, and jumped forward and under Kaito, hastily turning around, and launched herself onto his back. She then kicked off, the force of the blow meaning to not only launch herself, but force Kaito into the ground. She landed promptly on her feet a few yards away.
"Bring it on, Kaito," she said coolly.

Kaito was knocked off balance from the counter, but his leg quickly shoot out, catching himself before he could face plant. ‘She is quick. That is gonna be a problem.’ He didn’t even waste time with turning to face the girl, jump straight back, trying to estimate where she stood based on her voice. His body quickly dropped low to the ground, his leg shooting out as he spun, attempting to sweep her legs out from under her with a Konoha Reppuu. ‘Just remain in control, she hasn’t done anything to hurt you yet. There is nothing to get angry over.’ Name of jutsu: Konoha Reppuu (Leaf Violent Wind)

Jutsu Information: Using their quickness and agility, the user moves low to the ground and spinning kick to sweep their opponent off their feet.

She jumped up and backwards, dodging the kick, planting her feet against the wall. She was able to temporarily stay, using her chakra, and launched herself forward. As she flew above his head, she threw her hand out, and her claws graced his hair, cutting a few strands. She then landed on all fours. She turned and stood up quickly, performing a few hand signs. She then took her crouching stance once more.

'Huh, she seems to like being in the air. Well then, I guess I will accommodate her!' Kaito didn't even bother trying to stance himself as Kana's claws went through his hair, immediately jumping back instead. His body was kept low to the ground, turning to face the girl as he seemed to hover over the ground towards her. His foot suddenly launched up for the Konoha Kage Buyou, aiming to catch her in the face, to throw her skywards. He didn't even waste a moment to see if she hit, jumping right under where he assumed her body would be. He had no fancy techniques from here, but a simple hold being established would allow his chakra draining to start.
Name of jutsu: Konoha Kage Buyou (Leaf Shadow Dance)

Jutsu Information: Konoha Kage Buyou is a Taijutsu technique that is used to position a ninja's opponent into a vulnerable aerial position. The ninja will first quickly appear below their opponent, then with a switch upper kick they will launch their target into the air. The ninja will then jump into the air to "shadow" the target with the target's back to their chest. Rock Lee uses the Konoha Kage Bayou to place his opponent into a position to do his Omote Renge technique. Uchiha Sasuke would go on to copy this move to set up his opponent for his Shishi Rendan technique.
