Kenji stared at the kid standing in front of him. At least the brat was showing some spunk, even if it was annoying spunk. This kid had at least some potential in Kenji’s eyes,. Sure, Kenji found him annoying, bratty, and having a lack of understanding why was so angry having him and his friend along for an S ranked mission. Still, the kid was willing to stand up to him, someone who could easily beat him a million times over, and that did count for something in Kenji‘s mind. Not a lot, but it was a start.
Kenji kneeled down so he could get on eye level with the Genin, his eyes still in a glare. “I don’t like you,” he just flat out told him, “I don’t like you at all. But that isn’t why I am not going to be cutting you any sack. You are a Genin, you barely qualify as a ninja. This is a S ranked mission, a mission solely for the elite. The Hokage has said you are to tag along with us, so I will put aside my personal feeling for the time being. However, if you hold any of us back, put our lives at risk because of you inability to pull your own weight, I would feel no shame in leaving you behind. I will not cut you any slack because if I do, I put everyone else‘s life at risk. This isn‘t your silly baby missions anymore, no one is going to hold your hand and do your work for you.”
And with that Kenji stood up, he was about to leave, but stopped for a second. “Though, if you want to prove yourself a little, there is a job I could use some help with,” he told Caleb. Sure, Kenji didn’t have any problems with removing the seals by himself, he could handle the jobs with a couple of clones easily enough. However, this Genin was tagging along, and if he was unqualified… well, better to learn that now than out in the field. Besides, he just had to uncover a seal and pull it off at the same time as Kenji did, not too hard since Kenji knew the locations of all the seals.

Kenta smirked. "Tell that to Naruto and he'll kill you." He enjoyed the mental challenge of competing with one this stubborn. He had experience with Hayate and Caleb, but this Jonin was a new high for him. "Tell me about it in a minute." He said, walking back to Ruby. "I need to do this." He said, without waiting for her to say something. "Like I told Lady Tsunade. He's my sensei. He's our sensei. We have to help however we can. No matter what Kenji says, I know Hayate better than anyone, except maybe Violet. If it comes to fighting him at some point, you'll need me. I swear it."
Hayate smirked. "I had almost forgotten." His smile turned from a laugh to sadness. "I wasn't the only one who was affected during that war." He put his arm around Violet's shoulder, and led her inside.

Caleb raised his eyebrow as Kenji knelt down. He had to look down to see the jounin, and had to admit he was pretty interested in the proving mission, "What is it? I can probably do it easily... I was in the last major war, y'know..." He watched Kenta run up to the couple, and before Hayate and Violet walked inside, he ran up as well, "And I ws his least favorite student, so that's gotta count for something..."

As Tsunade finally thought for a second that she could have some quiet time to herself to think for even a moment, she heard a knock on the door. It didn't really surprise her, though. "Come in." She instructed.
Kanetsu walked out of the building, fully knowing that Kakashi was present beside her without even looking. She stared at her feet as she headed for the apartment. They needed to stock up on a few supplies before they left, after all, no one even knew how long they would be hiding for. She was doing everything she could to think of a plan. Not necessarily one for defeating it, but one for how they should go about the hiding. Spitting into a few groups of two and positioning themselves in areas that were spread out, yet close sounded like a good way to approach it. Her face told the whole story as you could easily tell by her eyes that she was enveloped in deep thought.

Kai finished his food and stood up having already paid for his meal, he pondered events gone passed and contemplated the behavior of the one called Kenji. He seemed to act in rude disregard of Kai, he could have easily killed Kenji but held back for reasons of duty to his village and consequences of cause. None the less, Kai planned to kill Kenji should he intentionally cross Kai again. Kai was raised to be a killer and had done many a fair share of taking lives to prove himself in his growing stages within his family's traditions of training. There was a solid reason why he was called the Steel Touch, it was because he could cleave a man into sections with his fingers alone.
Hokuto Suichoken was nothing to be taken lightly and Kenji's ego was bound to get him killed messing with a member of the Nanakase clan. He tried to remain humble in his heart, nodding in thanks to the cook he saw so often and walked out of Ichiraku, not really noticing anyone else who may have entered, mostly because he was trying to ignore everyone else around him to keep his anger in check. He wasn't the type to be oblivious to his surroundings even if he had an objective in mind, the note attached to the kunai earlier from the boy, and then another message from the bird that had passed by and landed at his feet.
He pretended not to notice earlier but he saw the closed note, its binding was official which meant that it had to come from the Hokage for sure. Something was going on, just as he had sensed earlier this morning. It was time to pay his leader a visit, he began making his way to the Hokage's office.

San blinked having been in the room the whole time started thinking. Hiding from an awakened one. Definitely going to be interesting. Looking around she jumped to a rooftop to think. Most likely they would all like to work together. And the genin that had been in the room? She hoped those three wouldn't end up killed.
Kaiyou seemed to appear next to Kenta and Caleb. "So what is the guy yelling bout?" The Jounin seemed to be a bit harsh on them, considering they were strong. Looking around she smiled and spotted the ramen shop. Kaiyou looked around at everyone and knew the mission was on everyone's minds.

Caleb looked to his right from Kenji to see Kaiyou. He couldn't beleive his eyes, since he hadn't seen her, and he knew he hadn't even during his amnesia. Since the last war, he had had a crush on her a little bit. He didn't know really what to say to her, especially when she looked at the noodle shop, and his stomach growled. He walked a little bit closer to Kaiyou, who had drifted a little away from the group. Even though he didn't think he could talk well, he still tried. "I hate Kenta so much..." He thought he hadn't been specific so he tried to explain, but just sounded weird, "Before we went to the Hokage's office he spilled- Err, Kenta spilled my ramen all over me." His cheeks turned red as he thought how stupid he probably sounded.

“Naruto is a Jinchuriki, his case is special. Though even he isn’t perfect,” Kenji told Kenta before he left. This was one of the few things that separated Kenji from Danzo, that he was much more accepting of the nine tailed Jinchuriki. Kenjia was Naruto as a gift to the village, a notable protector, a kid with limitless potential. Danzo saw him as a tool, a house for nine tails until Danzo himself could harness that power. Kenji hoped that day would never come, as Danzo who rule with an iron fist, would move away from peace. Even Kenji, with his foul attitude and angry demeanor, he did care for this village and didn’t want it to become weak, but Danzo’s way would just bring about more wars, and lead to more deaths.
“Don’t think because you were involved in major war that a task would be easy. After all, Genin in a war wouldn’t have been on there own. For all you know, you could have just been a burden,” replied Kenji to Caleb. Kenji wasn’t exactly one to sugar coat things, and though he hadn’t personally watched over Caleb during the war, he just had the feeling that was the guess. At worst, it agitated the kid, and Kenji had no problem with that.
“Just find that clearing you were in earlier, it is around there. I’ll give detail there,” Kenji told both Kenta and Caleb. He was hoping that they would indeed come along at some point. He really did want to make sure these Genin were ready for such a mission, if he had to trust his life to these kids at some point, they better be responsible and skilled. After all, you couldn’t afford to be weak on a mission such as this. That is how people died.

Kaiyou's stomach growled as she tried to remember what she had for breakfast. Glancing around she noticed Caleb had moved closer to her. Hearing the guy by Caleb she turned and watched him. "You weren't there which means you don't know a thing. We helped and we weren't a burden. So before you go blabbering your mouth off maybe you should think." Kaiyou glared at him then looked at Caleb and Kenta. "Wanna get some Ramen? I'll buy!" She headed toward Ichiraku's Ramen Shop, with a Smile. It was like she never back talked the Jounin.
Stopping at the bar she crawled on to the seat since she was probably the shortest out of her teammates. "How ya doing?" Turning around she waited for her teammates to follow if they wanted food. Taking out her little wallet she counted her money. She had enough for the three of them. Especially if the boys were really hungry. Though it was more likely she would eat the most. Humming she turned back to the counter and waited.
San glanced around then down to the streets. The same guy was pestering the Genin that had ended up on the mission. When Kaiyou back talked him she wondered if maybe she shouldn't intervene before Kaiyou got in trouble. Just watching for now she stayed quiet, while she thought about plans to be brought up when everyone decided to get together and plan for the mission to hide.

Caleb looked at Kaiyou when she said she would buy him food. He looked back at Kenta, then back at her, "Sure, just as long as Kenta doesn't ruin it..." He walked over and sat normally on the chair after seeing her struggle to sit. He didn't want to wipe out her money, so he ended up ordering a medium bowl of ramen. He looked behind them and saw the remnants of his spilled bowl. He would leave Kenji's job for later.

Alastr stepped in. "I'm sincerely sorry for interrupting you, Lady Hokage, but on behalf on Lady Violet, I must talk with you. It's about our military. Since Lady Violet is staying, she'll have command of the Tatsu military, but she also wants you to have authority as well. Just in case of any mishaps," he said casually, handing her a small scroll with the very information in writing. Violet had given it to Alastr unseen.
Kakashi had, undoubtedly in anyone's mind, stood by Kanetsu's side. As well as Kanetsu, Kakashi's mind was in deep thought, though he appeared to be laid back in a sense to the normal public. But if someone, like Kanetsu or Sakura, looked into his eye, then they'd see the deep thought.
"I'll trust you on this." Ruby said. She then jumped off and away.
Violet sat down as Hayate led her inside. "I guess you're right..." she muttered. She waited for Hayate to order before speaking her own.

Tsunade nodded. "I understand." She responded.
In good time, the two made it to the apartment. Kanetsu opened the door, and walked through, also letting Kakashi through. She began to gather everything that she would need and store it inside of her backpack, the kind that ninja would take with them for the longer missions. A few rolls of bandages, a sleeping bag that would be compact enough to fit, and basically anything that would be needed when handling a mission that would last for more than a day. Once everything was packed in, she put it on, being sure to put it on in a way that would interfere with her katana.

It took Kai a while to get to the Hokage's building...mostly because he was taking his sweet ass time after eating. He walked up stairs and made his way down the hall, stopping by the double doors that lead to her office. He stopped and looked at the floor, listening for any signs of breathing inside. From the sounds of it, Tsunade was still inside and he could sense how stressed she was based on her breathing patterns. He loved having the wind as his ally, it enhanced his senses to a great degree as far as his ears were concerned.
A hand lifted and a light knock was provided, waiting for someone to respond...

A door had opened almost instantly after Kai had knocked, and Alastr ran into Kai. "Uff!" He took a step back, looking back up at who he had ran into, "Uh, s-sorry Kai!" he said qickly, his embarrassment flushing over his face for an instant. He looked up into the other jounin's eyes, hoping he hadn't made him mad or anything. An akward smile appeared on his face and he hastily edged passed hin, making way for Kai.
Kakashi had made way over to his own things, packing the same things as Kanetsu, give or take a few things. He silently put the pack on, checking it's weight, and then turned to Kanetsu. He came up from behind her, putting his arms around her stomach. He rested his head on her shoulder. His eye was able to look into her closest one to his while his cheek was pressed against hers.

Tsunade sighed. It seemed like one after another, people kept piling in. "Come in!
Kanetsu blushed as she felt sudden warmth against her cheek. It was welcomed, however, as the familiar heat always was. She tilted her head that way as soon as it was felt, she nuzzled the other cheek.
