Squad 13's First Training (open)

The samurai watched as the shinobi in front of her looked at her as if he didn't believe her. She frowned at him and sighed. "Why does a wanderer have to be helpless? There are plenty of people that just wander around with knowledge of fighting. Otherwise, us wanderers wouldn't be able to defend against bandits."

It was a simple excuse for her to have combat training, but she didn't want to go into extreme detail. She really was there at the time because she simply wandered into town.

[Hayate Mochiya]

"Interesting..." Hayate sighed as he noticed Kaiyou slip Kenta the kunai. "Care to watch the show?" He muttered as he backflipped into the air, and landed perfectly on the ground in front of the three logs. "So. After cheats are done and done, how about a bit of straight on sparring?"

Lidochka Dmitriy shrugged at Hayate when he asked if she wanted to watch the show. She thought about it as he back flipped and landed in front of the logs next to his students. The samurai jumped down as well and sat down close to the logs and waved at the kids. A bit of direct combat sounded good to her ears. She really didn't like the way shinobi did such sneaky tactics. This would change the momentum of the fight.

The samurai grabbed a canteen of water and took a few gulps from it before viewing the field again.

Kaiyou blinked and bout fell off the boulder she was sitting on. Uh Oh... She should have known better then to think he wouldn't see. Setting her food down she hopped off and stretched before walking over to Kenta. "Guess were caught huh?"

[Hayate Mochiya]

"Caught? Try totally observed." Hayate muttered. "You're not very sneaky are you?" He sighed. "Now get up. It's time to see what you've learned. No more bells, just come straight on."

Lidochka was a woman of few pet peeves, but the way none of the shinobi seemed to be actually fighting started to annoy her. She sighed and then stood up. She was thinking about doing something, but didn't know what to do at the moment exactly. She put a hand on the hilt of her blade unconsciously and then she crouched down. She was thinking about asking if she could get involved with the training.

Kaiyou blinked and grinned at Hayate. "Well we are only genin we have a lot to learn and experience." Looking at Kenta her grin widened at she pulled out another kunai and took a deep breath. Racing forward she was almost in front of him when she jumped straight up and spun sending three kunai in Hayate's direction.

[Hayate Mochiya]

Hayate used his own kunai to block her two kunai. "Damn..." He muttered. He had been arrogant, and his carelessness made him miss the third kunai, which struck him in his throwing arm. He threw his kunai at Kaiyou, meaning to return the favour to the arm, but because his arm was messed up, his shot was less accurate, and was starting to head to a vital point. Noticing this quickly, he yelled "Kaiyou! MOVE!"

Kenta, who saw the scene from behind Kaiyou (his Byakugan was activated), broke the bonds on his arms, jumped in front of Kaiyou, and pushed her quickly out of the way. The kunai missed her heart, but hit his left arm. "Great..." Kenta muttered, his breathing staggered from the pain. "And to think. He hasn't taught us healing jutsu yet..."

Kaiyou caught sight of her third kunai hitting his arm. Yes she had hit him. Twisting in the air again she angled downward, Upon landing she looked at Kenta and grinned. Kaiyou's eyes widened as Hayate yelled at her to move. Looking his way she saw the Kunai and its angle toward her heart. The next thing she knew she was on the ground and Kenta was bleeding. Kaiyou looked at him and got up. She had frozen. Such a stupid mistake.

[Hayate Mochiya]

Kenta cringed. "Kaiyou, Caleb, cover me for a minute." He muttered under his breath. I've got to focus my chakara... But I don't know how... How can I do th- of course! Kenta, praying that his plan would work, gently struck himself in the right arm, and both legs, restricting their chakara flow. Instead, a majority of chakara went to his left arm, rapidly healing his wound. He pulled the kunai out, his arm still not completely healed. He stood up. "I'll be fine for a while."

Kaiyou nodded and moved infront of Kenta, two more Kunai already in her hand. She was not gonna freeze again. She would fight and take her wounds. Even though she was Grateful he had pushed her. That could have ended her Genin streak short.

[Okato Ikamatsu]

Caleb stood to the left of Kenta, Showoff... He huffed, and pulled out two kunai as well. He rubbed his nose and sniffed, Dang allergies He sniffed again, but still focusing on Hayate.

Kaiyou grinned at Caleb and stuck her tongue out. More like a challenge to do something about the thought that was written all over his face. Kaiyou didn't mind Rivalry just so long as they don't take it to the extreme like Naruto and Sasuke. In fact she didn't mind Rivals. It was fun. Maybe I should find a rival....

[Hayate Mochiya]

Kenta, now able to move, flowed chakara normally again. "Kaiyou, Caleb." He whispered, enough that Hayate coudn't hear, as well as moving his lips as minimum as possible. "I need to get behind him at best I can. My jutsu suck at long ranged, and we know we can't get to close to him head on."

Kaiyou spun her kunai and grinned. She could be a distraction. Pricking her finger, her hands flew through some handsigns as she chose which feline she wanted to use. Slamming her hands to the ground she called forth her two kittens. One was black and one was white. "Yin, Yang lets get this started. Caleb do not use the swamp." The kittens scattered as she call forth 10 shadow clones. Kaiyou and the shadow clones rushed forward then half broke off jumping up into the sky and tossing their kunai at Hayate from behind. They were hoping to move his forward. Concentrating some chakra in their feets, Kaiyou's half movedto the side as the first half moved to the other side.
