Caleb appeared out of the ground, no mud on him at all, "I would, but it's not like their plans are working out any better!" He turned and looked through all the trees, "I guess I'll let you two work out your brilliant plans. I'll just wait, then!" He walked into the forest, plucking a blade of grass from the ground and started to blow on it, making it squeak.

Kaiyou's kittens leaped toward Caleb as he made the grass squeak. To them it sounded like a mouse. The black one halted just before Caleb. Meowing at him she turned and ran back to a Clone Kaiyou had posted near a tree. The white one followed suite.

Kaiyou still waiting for an answer from Hayate placed a clone near Caleb and another near Kenta. It was her way of keeping track of everyone. Also a way of getting a plan formed.

"Get me, before the sun sets, and you win." Hayate chuckled from his position.

At last. There were only two Hayate's left. One was quickly dispatched by a kunai from behind from Kenta. "That one must be the real one!" Kenta called, as he hit him with his gentle fist. But the most curious thing happened. This one disappeared too. Kenta scanned the perimeter with his Byakugan. "Damnit... That sneaky little..." He kicked the ground. "They were all clones. And look at that. The sun's down."

Kaiyou released her shadow clones and jumped down beside Kenta. "Well. Guess we loose." She really didn't think loosing was all that big a deal when it was just practice. It just gave them a bigger incentive to win next time. Smiling she looked at Kenta. "Don't worry. Just means we have to try harder next time.
